The Redeemer’s Return
by Arthur W. Pink

Preface by Milburn Cockrell

Preface by Milburn Cockrell

It is a joy to present to prophetic students a reprint of what I consider the greatest book ever written on the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I do not expect A-millennialist and Post-millennialist to leap for joy over this book, especially, after Mr. Pink is known to have swerved in his doctrinal position after writing this book. He even went so far as to repudiate this book. The writings of others influenced him in this direction.

Elder John R. Gilpin, who knew Pink well, knew for a fact that had Mr. Pink lived longer, he would have repudiated his "repudiation." Shortly before his death he was on the verge of turning back to his original position set forth in this book.

I do not say that I agree entirely with Mr. Pink in all his conclusions, yet with minor differences, I believe this to be an outstanding book. With so much confusion in the religious world in the realm of eschotology, this book is sorely needed in our generation.

This book was originally produced in 1918 under the shadows of World War I. The text has not been altered or changed. The book is reproduced as it was originally printed. The reader should take this into consideration in view of some statements found herein.

I commend this book to students of the Word with prayer that God may open their eyes to see more clearly the glorious doctrine of Christ's return.
